This dish is not a light-weight addition to your meal. It pairs broccolini with an anchovy-based sauce that beautifully brings flavors together. That is, if you are a fan of bagna cauda which I am… At least, give it a try.
1 lb broccolini, trimmed
1 tsp olive oil
1-2 anchovy fillets
2 cloves garlic
1 Tbsp unsalted butter
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Toss broccolini with a sprinkle of olive oil, salt and pepper, arrange on rimmed baking sheet and roast in oven until tender with crisped edges, approximately 7-10 minutes.
While the broccolini are in the oven, mince garlic.
Warm the olive oil in a small pan over low heat, add garlic and anchovies and stir constantly until anchovies have melted, about 1-2 minutes.
Add one Tbsp of butter and stir.
Remove broccolini from oven, drizzle anchovy dressing over it and serve at once.
